Week 4 Travel Highlights

U17 Boys - The Indiana U-17 Boys team defeated Greensburg 5-0 on Sunday at White Twp. field,
increasing their winning streak to 3 games. Josh Doran started the scoring
for Indiana with the lone first half goal. Doran added two additional
goals in the second half, with Ryan Stewart and Abdulaziz Ben Salamh “Oz” contributing
one goal a piece. Scott McKirgan was solid in net for his second
shutout of the season.
U14 Co-ed (Indiana Black Sox) - The Indiana Black Sox travelled to Somerset and came away with an impressive 6-0
victory. Peter Short and Casey Newcomer shared keeper duties in the shut out while
Jem Orchard scored a hat trick. Cole Rosenberger scored twice and Jake Baecker
added one goal.
U14 Girls (Indiana Destroyers) - The undefeated Indiana Destroyers U14 girls team played at home on Sunday finishing
the game with a 3-0 victory over Connellsville. Leading the offensive
charge were goals by Sophie Nowell, Noel Hartle and Lorraine Yerger. Posting
the shutout was Hannah Schwartz at the Keeper position with 10 saves.

U12 Co-ed (Indiana Storm) - The Indiana Storm U 12 co-ed team battled Penn Trafford 97-98 to a 1-1 tie. Tori
Garzarelli scored the lone goal and Kellan Short worked the net in preserving
the tie.
U12 Girls (Indiana Flames) - The Indiana Flames U12 Girls game was postponed due to inclement weather. |
