Week 2 Travel Highlights

U17 Boys - Coming off of a tough loss to Woodland Hills last week, the Indiana U17 boys rebounded nicely with a 3-0 victory over Greensburg Salem at Indiana's Andy Kuzneski Field.  Indiana maintained excellent passing throughout the game which opened up scoring opportunities for Mason Lockard (2) and Josh Doran (1). Indiana keeper Scott McKirgan posted his first shut out of the season at goal.  Indiana will host Hempfield next Sunday at the White Township fields.


U14 Co-ed   (Indiana Black Sox)  - The Indiana Black Sox U14  Co-ed team traveled to Hempfield and came away with a 7-0 victory. Sharing the keeper duties were Peter Short and Casey Newcomer who combined for the shutout.    Jem Orchard and Cole Rosenberger led the offensive attack with two goals each while Thomas Nakrosis, Hunter Pitzerell, and Hunter Stiteler added one goal each.  The Black Sox are home next week against Connellsville.


U14 Girls  (Indiana Destroyers) - The Indiana Destroyers U14 girls team hosted the Murreysville Panthers  at the East Pike Fields. The Destroyers came out on top with a 3 -1 victory.   Indiana's Noel Hartle, Baylee Sergent, and Lorraine Yerger each posted a goal, while keeper Hannah Schwartz posted 4 saves on 5 attempts.  The Destroyers will take on the Panthers once again next week at Murrysville.


U12 Co-ed  (Indiana Storm) - The Indiana Storm U 12 co-ed team lost to Somerset 3-0. The Storm will host Mt. Pleasant next week at the White Township Recreation Complex.


U12 Girls  (Indiana Flames)
-  The Indiana Flames U12 Girls team tied Greensburg 0 - 0.  Keepers Logan Everett and Grace Zimmerman teamed up for 3 saves a piece in denying Greensburg potential scoring opportunities.  The Flames will be playing away next week against Tri-City.
